The Photo Fence is a new project brought to the Cartersville Downtown Development Authority and the Cartersville-Bartow Convention and Visitors Bureau by citizens interested in developing a local public arts program. The 24 images juried into this first Photo Fence exhibit follow the theme of “Joy and Happiness.” It hung from Fall 2018 through January 2019
Our goal is to recognize photography as one of the visual arts available to this community. Great appreciation is given to the photographers in 27 communities in and around Bartow County who submitted 283 images! Listed below are the photographers whose photographs were selected. Congratulations to Heather Andrews for winning the People’s Choice award for her submission “Baby Smiles”. We had 300 votes cast between our online and paper ballots, which really speaks to how interested people were in this project.
